Does it go against the grain to want equals rights for women, but want the privileges of being one, too? Is that hypocritical?

I've always tried to be good about splitting the tab and being completely equal, but am I being a fool?

Looking for a "Singles" event

What is taking the high road?

Everyone always talks about taking the high road, but I'm starting to think that saying has been misinterpreted over the years. Especially when it comes to relationships.

Sex and lies

There's a cold war going on between the liars and the non-liars. It's too early to tell who's winning.

My NYC trip

I took a break from relationships (or the lack there of) and spent the last couple of days in New York City. We were almost mugged 15 minutes after we landed in the city and spent our nights in a hotel most likely run by Norman Bates. Sigh. So many memories.

I'm starting to doubt if being honest and forthcoming is always the ideal route to take.

I always thought it was best to be honest. Sure, it might be hard or awkward to tell the truth sometimes, but at least you know you're honest with people and yourself. I think I got this mentality growing up with my Mexican family. They were never shy to tell me when I would gain weight or had something in my teeth. God bless them.

Since I've been single, it seems everyone around me is finding love. (As a side note, my shuffle just tried to maliciously mock me by just now choosing to play "Real Love" by The Beatles.)
