I woke up this morning and got ready for work. I didn't want to layer myself too much like I did yesterday because then I sweat by the time I get on the train. So, instead of guessing, I looked it up. High of 58. WHAT?!

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of going over to the Cobra Lounge to listen to two local bands. One, of which is local to Chicago (La Brecha) and the other that’s local to Kansas City but laid claim to a residency at the said venue.

Music is supposed to be fun, enjoyable, inspirational. I saw the epitome of that last Thursday night when Canteca de Macao played for the first time in the United States at Green Dolphin Street to kick off the Flamenco Festival and was it phenomenal.
