Musicians Jay de la Cueva, Javier Ramirez, Marcelo Lara, Iñaki Vazquez and Olallo Rubio formed Moderatto in the late 90s as an escape from their serious gigs. They wanted to put on some eyeliner, stick their tongues out and blow off some steam, while taking a jab at a bygone era.

I’ve dreamt of attending the Latin Alternative Music Conference since I was an intern for MTV Tr3s in the summer of 2007. It took me three years but I finally arrived.
I was so excited I barely thought about the heat wave hitting New York.
